What's Going on in McKinney, Texas?

I saw yesterday this video shot, as I understand it, by a young white man of the police action in McKinney, Texas. I don't see anything that justifies the police action and conduct here, especially pulling the gun. I notice that two colleagues quickly rush over to try and calm the officer down, which was wise. Then he goes and uses excessive force on this young woman for what appears to be no reason whatsoever.

Maybe there is more to it than I see in the video below. But I've not seen it so far.
