A car wreck in Knott County on Highway 1087 Wednesday morning killed one man and badly injured another, kentucky.com reports, "Knott County Man Dies In Crash." The wreck happened Wednesday morning about 11 a.m. near the town of Talcum. Carlos Everage of Hazard, a passenger, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, Matthew Everage of Talcum, was taken for treatment at the Appalachian Regional Hospital in Hazard.
